Natalie holds a license master of social work and has experience working n both group practice and community mental health settings. Natalie's warm and non-judgmental style prioritizes the client-therapist relationship, which she believes is essential to growth in therapy.
Using an insight-oriented approach, Natalie helps clients understand how their past influences their present and build awareness of interpersonal patterns. She also integrates dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) concepts to help clients address the impact of relational trauma, connect with their inherent resilience, and develop new coping mechanisms.
Natalie's areas of focus include trauma recovery, depression, identity in emerging adulthood, and issues related to gender and sexuality. She holds an MSW from the Smith College School for Social Work and has advanced training in DBT and psychodynamic approaches.
