Julie views the therapeutic relationship as a supportive alliance that is formed through the sharing and exploration of one’s unique and sacred personal story. Julie believes that through sharing your story and engaging in a process of exploration, the lingering effects of past traumas can be released, as well as patterns that no longer serve you.
Julie’s style is empathetic, collaborative, and culturally informed, with an emphasis on safety and non judgement. Julie enjoys supporting clients who are going through or seeking life transitions, navigating family relationships, and working through anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Julie’s approach to therapy is tailored to the unique needs of every client, and based in Narrative, Family Systems, and Solution Focused modalities. Julie is trained as a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher and brings an awareness of the physical effects that trauma has on our bodies. She works from a space of mindfulness, curiosity, and openness.
