Jesse is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York City. As a lifelong New Yorker and with 10 years of experience working in crisis services, Jesse is acutely aware of the accumulation of stress and trauma people have in their lives. He is deeply committed to the intersection of empathy, compassion, and empowerment. Jesse believes by building a healthier relationship with ourselves, we can identify and change unhealthy thoughts and behaviors and improve our relationships with those around us. He also recognizes the complex and varied layers of oppression faced by people’s diverse identities and incorporates that into his work addressing sources of stress and trauma.
Jesse specializes in depression, anxiety, substance use, self harm, relationship and family issues, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ experience. He combines aspects of talk therapy and mindfulness and focuses them through a relational therapy lens to create a safe, judgment free space for authentic reflection and growth.
